Cookie dough pots

For all those people who love to lick the spoon.

Cookies Dough Pots

Makes 4 pots

Ingredients

  • 100g butter, soft

  • 140g soft brown sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 140g flour (any kind)

  • pinch of salt

  • 70g chocolate chips

(see notes for ingredient replacement and store cupboard substitutions below the method)

Method

  1. Place the softened butter and sugar in a bowl and beat with a wooden spoon until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract.

  2. Add in the flour and salt, and beat the combine.

  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  4. 2 options:

  • Divide into 4 small bowls and eat straight away.

  • Divide into 4 small bowls and place in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.

Notes, variations and substitutions

Butter: you can use margarine, it just doesn't taste quite as nice. You can also use coconut oil

Flour: Any flour, including gluten free, will be absolutely fine here.

Sugar: You really do need to use brown sugar to get that classic cookie dough flavour here. But feel free to use white sugar if you're desperate.

//Cookie Dough Pots//

For all those people who love to lick the spoon.

I'm one of those people who will pick the cookie dough pieces out of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice-Cream. Sorry, but I am. I also can't bake a batch of cookies without eating the cookie dough batter. And I know that many of you out there are exactly the same as me. So for all those people, welcome to your version of heaven.
